Middle-Aged Studenting

Yesterday I committed to another year of school, before beginning work on a Master’s degree, by adding a second degree to my degree program. In addition to a BSBA, I’m also going for a BA in Communications. It made sense to work on them side by side because I can share all the required classes between the two degrees. This...

The Hatred

Watching The Hatred on Netflix. It’s ever so mildly creepy, and the script is sorry of dumb, but I’m so impressed with it anyway. Cutting the Cord

420 for Kittens

I went out back to chase away a woodpecker who decided to bang on my house in an effort to attract a mate or establish his territory, or both. While I was back there, I noticed that the catnip is coming in nicely already so I brought a bunch in for the cat herd. Xena was her usual self with...

Reading Makes You Interesting

My niece, aged 20, thinks that I know everything. I believe this is a quality that she finds equally impressive and obnoxious. She often asks, “How do you know that?” And I reply, “I don’t know. I read it about it at some point.” I do not know everything. But I read. A lot. And when I find something I...
