I Have a Bad Feeling About This

The stem cell research debate has threatened for some time to shine a light on assisted reproduction, and we’re now at that point. With the House approving a bill that “permits the government to pay for studies involving human embryos that are in frozen storage at fertility clinics, so long as couples conceiving the embryos certified that they had made a decision to discard them,” I fear this may pave the way for restrictions on IVF as the right-to-lifers start realizing that frozen embryos are often destroyed.

  1. Al Franken has been saying on his show for the last week “pro-lifers don’t have anything against IVF! What hypocrits!” I’ve been wanting to reach through the radio, grab him by the ears, and say “that’s because they don’t know anything about it, dope! SHUT UP!”
