Pesto Tip

Homemade pesto has a tendency to turn brown, or even black, when it’s left exposed to air for a little while. One way to prevent this is to pour a thin film of olive oil over the top of your pesto in its storage container. The olive oil protects the pesto from air, so it doesn’t oxidize and change color.
