Ten On Tuesday: 10 Bands (or individuals) You Have Seen in Concert

Published / by Kim

Every time I neglect this blog for a long period of time, Ten On Tuesday seems to be a good way to start paying it some attention again. And today’s Ten On Tuesday is an easy one for me, even limiting it – mostly – only to acts of which I have photos.

Small things like reasons
Are put in a jar
Whatever happened to wishes
Wished on a star?
Was it just something
That I made up for fun?
I saw you, I saw you
Comin’ back to me

Don’t care what the world seh;
I’n’I couldn’t never go astray.
Just like a bright and sunny day:
Oh, we’re gonna have things our way.

10 Favorite Movie/Song Remakes

Time for Ten On Tuesday. These are not in order of best liked to least, merely in the order I thought of them.

  1. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003)
  2. Forever Young – Jerry Garcia Band – originally by Bob Dylan
  3. Twelve Monkeys (1995)
  4. Fisherman’s Blues – Railroad Earth – originally by The Waterboys
  5. The Birdcage (1996)
  6. 3:10 to Yuma (2007)
  7. I Will – Alison Krauss – originally by The Beatles
  8. Chim-Chim-Cher-Ee – Seldom Scene – originally from Mary Poppins
  9. Halloween (2007)
  10. The Ring (2002)

Kind of funny that most of the movie remakes I’ve liked are horror movies.
