The beginning of Koolhaas, in Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Multi. The color changes are creating a sort of striped spiral effect. I wasn’t sure I liked it at first, but it’s growing on me.
Scott is always complaining that I never knit anything for him. He even started bitching and moaning about that right after I knit him a freakin’ sweater. But, what can I say, the guy helps keep me in yarn, so I have to make sure I keep knitting for him.
To sate his most recent round of whining about how I never knit anything for him, I knit him a hat. I rather like it, and I’m glad I had that skein of Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Worsted in my stash. Perfect colorway for a manly hat.
Pattern: Four Way, Two Needle Hat
Yarn: Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Worsted
This pattern is actually knit flat and seamed, but I knit it in the round. I hate seaming, and will try to avoid it whenever possible. Other than that, I followed the pattern pretty exactly.
He’s pretty happy with it, too.
